Each piece is unique formed on the potters wheel, trimmed and signed by the potter "lendsey" with a mark on the bottom and the "turtle" on the side.

Mark Lendsey has been working with clay since 1968 working mainly on the potters wheel.

He produces functional forms with glazes that reveal the surface variation of wheel thrown pottery.

He uses a white stoneware clay.

He has a small studio but is usually able to work out of doors in the south Florida weather permitting.

His philosophy is to make concise forms using as few tools as possible to produce durable functional ware.
